DIY Wood Wall Frames

Hello again!

This week I am excited to show off some awesome and inexpensive DIY wood wall frames I created for my hallway. Now I can’t take credit for the idea, I found it in a book- of all places! 😉 I was inspired by Handmade Walls from the DIY team at The Handmade Home. For complete project details definitely pick up this book! This was the perfect weekend DIY and it really adds character to our gallery hallway. Here’s the run through of how I created my one of kind frames!

With Thanksgiving on the way, a tag like this would be the perfect way to adorn that holiday feast food offering, or bottle of wine.

In the spirit of giving, I’ve also included for free, the “Thank you” cut file for your crafty own collection!

DIY Fall Leaves Paper Wreath

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share my process for making this festive fall leaves wreath entirely out of paper! For the fall season I was tasked with creating an easy display in our library for cookbooks. I decided to feature “Fall Foods.” With the help of the Silhouette Cameo, I created this wreath in an afternoon. This project is also perfect for creating a welcoming autumn door wreath or mantel decor on a budget by utilizing your unused paper at home!DIY Fall Leaves Paper Wreath

DIY Wood Bracket Bookends

Hello everyone!

I’ve been super busy the last few weekends addressing all my incomplete DIY and crafts that I meant to finish long ago. In these final few weeks of summer I’ve thoroughly coated my garage in a deep layer of saw dust with various woodworking projects- custom picture frames for the hallway, and a total front porch/patio renovation. I’m super excited to share both of these projects with you- just as soon as I remove the multitude of splinters from my hands!
DIY Wood Bookends Fluorescent BeigeThis week I wanted to share with you the easiest (and most painless!) fall project- DIY wood bookends! Like me, you can finally organize your hoard collection of library books, personal books, or make some sense out of that stack of back to school books.
This project requires no assembly, just a pair of pre-assembled wood scroll brackets, paint or stain of your choosing, and a few anti-skid furniture pads. This relatively inexpensive and simple craft is perfect for creating functional and custom decor for your home or office!

Fast Fabulous Thank You Cards

Fast Fabulous Thank You CardsHello!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my recent paper craft projects- these fast, but fabulous, thank you cards.

With the exception of the “Thank You” I added on the inside of the card, this project needs no fancy die cut machine. Just a pair of scissors and a ruler (I used my Fiskars paper trimmer to save time.) Even a non-crafter can tackle this DIY.

A few simple layers and beautiful patterned card stock with foil really make this project stand out. These little cards are perfect for saying thanks- fast.
